A Clean Lined Five Light Chandelier With A Rustic Edge
The Kichler Deryn chandelier keeps things simple. Slim, angled arms rise from a central hub into an inverted diamond shape, with five tall glass cylinders standing around the outside. It is a relaxed five light chandelier for dining rooms and open plan spaces where you want a bit of structure without fuss.
Distressed Antique Grey
The arms have a faded, wood effect grey finish with a visible grain, so the frame looks like it has weathered naturally over time. Brushed metal fittings at the centre, the lamp holders and the ceiling plate add a cooler, silvery contrast. The clear seeded glass cylinders are dotted with tiny bubbles, which pick up the glow of the bulbs inside.
How It Works
- Five E27 lamp holders, each suited to an LED bulb (bulbs not supplied)
- Dimmable when you use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
- Steel frame with clear seeded glass shades
- Hung from a chain with an adjustable overall height
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Vintage style LED filament bulbs look especially good inside these cylinders.
Where It Works Best
Hang it over a dining table, in a farmhouse kitchen, in a hallway with a decent ceiling height or above a seating area in a coastal style home. At 61.1cm across it suits a table that seats four to six people, and its open frame lets light travel into the room instead of blocking the view.
Made By Kichler
Kichler began in 1938 with Leonard Kichler in Cleveland, Ohio, and it now operates from Solon, Ohio. The Deryn is typical of its easy, lived in approach to decorative lighting, with natural tones and plain shapes you can mix with almost anything.
