A Three Light Chandelier With Weathered Wood Effect Arms
The Kichler Deryn 3 Light Chandelier is a small, open framed chandelier with three straight arms that meet in an upside down triangle shape. Each arm ends in a tall cylinder of clear seeded glass, with an exposed filament bulb inside. The look is simple and uncluttered, with a relaxed rustic feel that suits refined country and coastal homes.
Distressed Antique Grey Finish
The arms have a grey, weathered wood look, with visible grain, and they are paired with satin, pale metal fittings at the ceiling plate, the centre and the lamp holders. The mix is the main attraction, because the soft wood effect keeps the metal from looking cold. Tiny air bubbles in the glass catch the light and add a little sparkle.
How It Works
- Three E27 lamp holders, suited to LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable LED bulbs
- Steel frame with clear seeded glass shades, hung on a chain
- An optional flush installation is shown in the installation diagram, for lower ceilings
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Filament style LED bulbs suit the clear glass well.
Where It Works Best
It is 47cm tall and 55.8cm wide, which makes it a good size above a small dining table, a kitchen island or a breakfast nook. It is also a fit for a hallway or a bedroom, especially if you want a lower ceiling look with the flush option. The open frame keeps the room feeling light.
