A Crystal Island Chandelier With Plenty of Sparkle
The Kichler Crystal Skye is an oval, eight light island chandelier built from rows of clear crystal prisms. Each prism stands upright around a polished chrome plate, and smaller faceted crystals dot the underside. It is a long, low shape designed to hang over a table or a kitchen island.
Chrome Finish
The metalwork is polished chrome, a bright, mirror like silver that matches the clear glass look of the prisms. Light bounces between the chrome and the crystal, which scatters small flashes of colour across the room. It is a glamorous finish that suits white, grey and black schemes.
How It Works
- Eight G9 lamp holders, suited to 3W LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable LED bulbs
- Chrome frame with crystal prisms, hung from an oval ceiling plate on adjustable suspension
- Rated IP44, so it is suitable for use in a bathroom environment
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Clear capsule LED bulbs let the crystal do the sparkling.
Where It Works Best
It is at home over a kitchen island, a long dining table or a landing. Because it is IP44 rated, it can also be used in a bathroom, subject to the zone rules. A warm white bulb makes the crystal glow gently.
