A Two Light Candle Wall Light With a Gentle Brass Look
The Kichler Capitol Hill 2 Light Wall Light has two slim candle style arms, each holding a small filament bulb, joined by a looped frame behind a layered round back plate. The lines are simple and a little retro, so it fits in with most styles from classic to modern. It gives a soft, warm glow and works well for a quiet bit of ambient lighting.
Painted Natural Brass Finish
This one is finished in painted natural brass, a soft, satin gold that is warm without being shiny. It has the look of aged brass but with an even, matt colour, so it is easy to match with warm white walls, wood and brass handles. Close up, the surface is smooth and slightly textured, and it has a gentle sheen on the curves.
How It Works
- Two E14 lamp holders, suited to LED candle bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable LED bulbs
- Steel construction with a round, stepped back plate for wall mounting
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
A clear filament style candle bulb shows off the slim arms and gives a cosy glow.
Where It Works Best
It is 27cm tall and 24.7cm wide, with a modest 15.6cm projection, so it suits smaller spots. Try a pair either side of a bed or a mirror, one on each side of a dining room sideboard, or a single light on a landing or in a hallway. In a kitchen or dining room, the warm brass tone is a good match for cabinets and wood.
