Kichler Capitol Hill 2 Light Wall Light - Brushed Nickel

A Pair of Candles on a Neat Brushed Nickel Sconce

The Kichler Capitol Hill 2 light wall light is a compact, balanced sconce with a traditional outline. Two candle tubes rise from a curved cross bar with ball tipped ends, and looping arms connect it to a stepped, round back plate. It feels both classic and simple, so it fits many styles of room.

Brushed Nickel Finish

This version is brushed nickel, a satin grey silver with fine brushing lines that you can see on the back plate and arms. It is gentler than chrome and a little warmer than steel, so it suits cream, grey and soft blue walls. The finish matches the Capitol Hill chandeliers in the same colour if you want to build a set.

How It Works

• Two E14 lamp holders, suited to LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
• Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable LED bulbs
• Steel body with a round back plate for wall mounting
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

Clear candle shaped LED filament bulbs look best on the slim metal tubes.

Where It Works Best

It suits a dining room, where a pair either side of a sideboard or picture adds a soft glow at eye level. It also works well in a hallway, a living room alcove or either side of a bed. Kitchens with a traditional look can use it above a dresser.

Questions People Ask

What does brushed nickel look like?
It is a soft, grey silver metal with a satin sheen and faint brush marks, not a mirror shine.

How far does it project?
It sticks out 15.6cm from the wall and is 27cm tall and 24.7cm wide.

Does it have glass shades?
No. The two candle shaped bulbs are on show, so filament style bulbs give a good result.

Can I use more than one?
Yes. Pairs work especially well, and the matching chandeliers can share the room.
