A Slim Cylinder Wall Lantern With a Modern Industrial Edge
The Kichler Camillo Medium Wall Lantern is a tall, narrow outdoor wall light built around a clear seeded glass cylinder. Slim vertical frame bars run up the glass, and a flat round cap and base finish it off. A long tube shaped bulb sits in the middle, so the lantern looks clean and graphic by day and glows softly at night.
Painted Natural Brass Finish
This version has a painted natural brass finish, a warm, matt brass tone that feels less shiny than polished brass. It looks smart against white or cream render, painted cladding, dark door frames and black window frames, and it adds a gentle golden accent without being showy. The glass is dotted with tiny bubbles, which scatter the light beautifully.
How It Works
- One E27 lamp holder, suited to an LED bulb (bulb not supplied)
- Dimmable with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer
- Aluminium body with clear seeded glass
- Wall mounted on a flat rectangular back plate, with the cylinder held out from the wall
- Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for sheltered outdoor use
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
A tube shaped LED filament bulb suits the cylinder shape well.
Where It Works Best
Camillo suits contemporary and modern farmhouse homes, and it works as a front door light, a garden room wall light or a garage entrance light. Fit a matching pair either side of a door to frame it, or use a single lantern beside a patio door where you want a tidy, upright shape.
Made By Kichler
Kichler has been designing lighting since 1938, when Leonard Kichler began the business in Cleveland, Ohio. It is now based in Solon, Ohio, and the Camillo shows its more modern side, with a Luxe Industrial look that sits alongside its classic lanterns.
