A Dark Bronze Jar Wall Light With Workshop Charm
The Kichler Brinley Single Wall Light in olde bronze turns a classic glass preserving jar into a small wall light. The clear shade hangs from a curved neck and a metal collar with a lifting handle, and a teardrop filament bulb sits in view. It is a simple light that adds a lot of character to a room.
Olde Bronze Finish
Olde bronze is a deep brown bronze, with a fine copper coloured line around the edge of the round back plate. It is a rich, dark finish that looks great against light painted walls, white tiles and warm timber, and it gives the clear glass a strong, graphic outline. The darker metal also suits black door furniture and iron accessories.
How It Works
- One E27 lamp holder, suited to an LED bulb (bulb not supplied)
- Dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer
- Steel fittings with a clear glass jar shade
- Fixes to the wall on a round back plate
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
A filament bulb with a long teardrop shape gives the strongest vintage look.
Where It Works Best
The lifestyle photo shows a pair of these lights either side of a wide mirror above a vanity unit, a layout that suits many rooms. You can use the same idea in a dressing area, a hallway or either side of a bed. A single light also works beside a kitchen shelf or at a desk.
Made By Kichler

Questions People Ask
What colour is olde bronze?
It is a dark brown bronze with a hint of copper at the edge of the back plate, a lot warmer than black.
How far does it stick out?
It projects 16.5cm from the wall and is 29.2cm tall, so it is compact enough for narrow spaces.
Can I use a dimmer?
Yes. Fit a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer. The bulb is not supplied with the light.
Is the wall light safe to use outside?
No. It is an indoor light with no outdoor rating, so it should be fitted inside the home.
