An Outdoor Chandelier Made From Five Little Harbour Lanterns

The Kichler Ashland Bay 5 Light Outdoor Chandelier hangs five small ship style lanterns from a wide metal ring. Each lantern has a ribbed, bubbled glass jar between slim posts and a domed cap with rivets, and the ring is held up by a cluster of arms and a straight central rod. It turns a covered patio or porch into a proper outdoor room.

Burnished Bronze Finish

This chandelier is listed in burnished bronze, an aged, mellow metal tone with a brushed grain. In the studio photos the metal reads as a soft, pale pewter brown, so expect a muted, slightly weathered colour rather than a dark, glossy bronze. The ring, arms, rod and lantern caps all share the same finish.

How much headroom does it need?
The whole fitting is 108.1cm from the top of the ceiling plate to the bottom of the lanterns, so check you have enough ceiling height and keep it clear of heads and furniture.

Can I dim all five lights?
Yes. Use dimmable E27 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer, and no bulbs are supplied with the chandelier.

Is it heavy to hang?
It weighs 6.8kg, so the ceiling fixing needs to be strong enough. Ask your electrician to check the ceiling structure before installation.

Can it hang in an open garden?
