An Industrial Style Chandelier With A Softer Side
The Kichler Aivian 5 Light Chandelier has a slim, workshop inspired frame with five clear glass shades hanging from short bent arms. The look is refined but a little edgy, and it suits anyone who likes exposed filament bulbs. It can also be fitted as a semi flush ceiling light, which makes it handy for rooms with lower ceilings.
Weathered Brass Finish
The metalwork is finished in weathered brass, a muted, slightly aged gold that looks more like worn hardware than shiny polished brass. It warms up painted walls and goes well with oak, walnut and dark painted joinery. The tapered clear glass shades let the bulbs show through, so the brass and the glow of the filaments work together.
How It Works
- Five E27 lampholders, suited to LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose dimmable LED bulbs
- Hangs on a rod, with the overall height adjustable from 44.5cm to 151.2cm
- Can be converted to a semi flush ceiling fitting
- Steel frame with tapered clear glass shades
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Decorative LED filament bulbs show off the glass shapes and give a warm, easy light.
Where It Works Best
Over a dining table, a kitchen island or in a large hallway, this chandelier gives light at the right height without feeling heavy. At 76.2cm wide it is generous without taking over. In a room with a lower ceiling, the semi flush option keeps it clear of heads.
Made By Kichler
Lighting has been Kichler's business since 1938, when Leonard Kichler began work in Cleveland, Ohio. The company is now based in Solon, Ohio, and the Aivian is a good example of its relaxed take on industrial style for ordinary family homes.

Questions People Ask
Can the Aivian 5 light chandelier be fitted close to the ceiling?
Yes, it can be converted to a semi flush fitting, which is useful if your ceiling is on the low side.
What bulbs does it need?
Five E27 LED bulbs, which are not supplied. Because the shades are clear, a decorative filament style bulb looks best.
How wide is it?
It is 76.2cm across, so it suits a dining table seating six or a roomy hallway.
Can I use it with a dimmer?
Yes, as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer.
