The Moony 145cm Floor Lamp brings Marcantonio's flexible arm down to the floor, standing on a weighted concrete base with a metal rod that lifts, bends and holds wherever you position it. Point the globe up to bounce soft light off the ceiling, or curve the arm down and forward for a closer pool of light near a chair.

A floor lamp that behaves like two

At its tallest, the rod reaches up to 145cm, enough to wash light across a ceiling from a corner, yet the arm bends just as easily down to reading lamp height beside a sofa. That range is the point of this configuration, one lamp doing two very different jobs.

How it works

It takes one E27 LED bulb, maximum 7W, not included. This is a freestanding lamp that simply plugs into a standard socket, no wiring or installation needed, just position it and switch it on.

Where it works best

Living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners all suit it, anywhere you want the option to switch between ambient uplighting and a more directed reading light without changing lamps.

Karman and Marcantonio

Marcantonio built the entire Moony family around this one flexible rod, treating it as the design's real subject rather than the glass globe at its end. Karman makes the piece at its base in Fossombrone, in Italy's Marche region, and describes its production as 100% Italian made.
