Karman Moony 1 Light Ceiling Lamp - Matt White

A single arm of light overhead

The Moony 1 Light Ceiling Lamp is the simplest read on Marcantonio's flexible arm design for Karman, a single flexible rod dropping from the ceiling to hold one frosted glass globe wherever you angle it. The rod bends and holds its position, so the globe can hang straight down or lean off to one side, changing the feel of the light with a small adjustment.

One light, quietly adaptable

With just one arm and one globe, this is the most compact fitting in Moony's downlight family, suited to spaces where a single, well placed point of light does more than a wider spread would. The matt white finish on the flexible rod keeps the fitting understated, letting the globe read as the focal point.

How it works

The fitting takes one E27 LED bulb, maximum 7W, which is not included. It is a ceiling mounted, mains wired fixture, with a fixed ceiling plate and the flexible rod doing the positioning work.

Where it works best

Its small footprint suits hallways, bedside spots and reading corners, or anywhere you want one adjustable point of light rather than an even spread, such as above a desk or a favourite chair.

Karman and Marcantonio

Marcantonio designed Moony around the idea of a single adjustable arm that lets a light change character in seconds. Karman, an Italian lighting brand based in Fossombrone, in the Marche region, describes its production as 100% Italian made.
