The Stanford Look

This twin arm floor lamp uses the same antique brass finish and beige shade language as the rest of the collection, so it sits comfortably alongside shaded Stanford wall lights, table lamps or pendants if you are furnishing a room with matching pieces, while working just as well as a standalone piece elsewhere in the house.

How It Works

Two E14 candle lamps rated up to 40W each sit beneath the shade, operated by a convenient inline foot switch rather than a wall dimmer. It is Class 2 (double insulated) and suitable for use with LED bulbs, though as a foot switched fitting it is not designed for dimmer control in the way the collection's wall and pendant lights are.

Where It Works Best

At around 1.58m tall, this is a fitting for beside an armchair, sofa or reading corner, somewhere it can do the job of a proper reading light while adding presence to the room. Its angular arms and beige shade give it more classical detailing than a plain drum shaded floor lamp, without the exposed brass drama of the swing arm version elsewhere in the range.
