Choosing Your Stanford Look

This bare brass pendant lets the frame do all the talking, no shades, just the sweep of the arms and the glow of the lamps themselves. How It Works

Three E14 candle lamps rated up to 40W each sit on the arms, and the fitting is height adjustable at installation with a drop of roughly 450mm to 1550mm, so it suits both high and low ceilings. It is dimmable with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and a compatible leading or trailing edge dimmer, and Class 1 (earthed). Because the lamps are fully exposed here, a 2200K to 2700K CRI 90+ LED filament lamp will flatter the fitting best, and a frosted or lower output lamp is worth considering to keep glare in check at typical dining table height.

Where It Works Best

Centred over a dining table or in a hallway with a decent ceiling height, this pendant works hardest where the fitting itself is meant to be seen and admired rather than softened. It is the more contemporary option of the two 3 light Stanford pendants, and suits rooms that already lean toward exposed materials and clean lines.
