The bare Stanford 2 Light Wall Light in Antique Brass shows off the same curved arms with nothing covering the lamps, which suits a more pared back, industrial glamour setting. How It Works

Two E14 candle lamps rated up to 40W each sit behind the organza shades, and the fitting is Class 1 (earthed). It is dimmable with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and a compatible leading or trailing edge dimmer switch, and because the shades diffuse the light, glare is much less of a concern here than on the exposed brass version, so lamp choice is more about warmth of colour temperature than output.

Where It Works Best

The shades make this the better choice for a hallway, landing or bedroom where you want ambient light rather than a visible point source, and for pairing with other shaded Stanford pieces, such as the matching table or floor lamp, to keep a room's lighting consistent.
