The Stanford 2 Light Wall Light is a study in restraint. Two sweeping brass arms reach from a compact backplate, each cradling an exposed lamp, so the metalwork itself becomes the decoration rather than a frame for something else.

Choosing Your Stanford Look

This is the bare brass version of the design, worn with the arms and lamps left fully exposed for a look that leans industrial glamour. If you would prefer something softer, the sibling Stanford 2 Light Wall Light in Antique Brass & Beige Organza Shades pairs the same frame with hand finished organza shades that mute the light and dress the fitting for a more traditional room. Both share the same fixing and footprint, so the choice is purely about the finished look you want on the wall.

How It Works

Each arm holds a single E14 candle lamp rated up to 40W, giving two points of light from one fitting. The fitting is dimmable when used with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and a compatible leading or trailing edge dimmer switch, and it is Class 1 (earthed). Because the lamps sit exposed, a quality 2200K to 2700K CRI 90+ LED filament lamp will give the warmest, most flattering result, and a lower output or frosted lamp is worth choosing if you want to avoid glare at eye level.

Where It Works Best

Flanking a mirror or console table, either side of a fireplace, or spaced along a hallway, this is the fitting to choose where you want the brass itself on display rather than hidden under a shade. Next to its shaded sibling it reads noticeably more contemporary, and it suits rooms already rich in pattern or texture where a plainer, sculptural wall light is the better fit.
