A Compact Rose for Lower Ceilings
Scaled down from the large flush fitting, this medium version keeps the Hutchinson rose motif close to the ceiling in a smaller 40cm shade, finished with satin black metalwork that frames the glass rather than competing with it. It is built for rooms where a full 50cm shade would feel too large.
Choosing Your Hutchinson
Where the Hutchinson Large 2 Light Flush Fitting carries a 50cm shade, this medium version uses the same flush, no chain format at 40cm across, matching the scale of the Medium Pendant and Medium Inverted 3 Light Pendant. Choose this size for smaller rooms, or step up to the large flush fitting where the ceiling and room can carry a bigger shade.
How It Works
Two E27 lampholders take LED lamps up to 10W each, sitting just 22cm proud of the ceiling. The fitting is dimmable with a suitable dimmable lamp and compatible dimmer switch, and weighs 2.7kg complete.
Where It Works Best
Its shallow 22cm depth and smaller shade make this the Hutchinson flush fitting for box rooms, landings and smaller bedrooms where the large version would dominate the ceiling. Two lampholders still give a fuller, more even light across the shade than a single bulb equivalent.
