If your room has generous height, the 3 light large pendant or the inverted versions let the fitting hang lower and make more of a statement. Where the ceiling is low, or the fitting sits above a bed or a hallway where people pass close underneath, this semi flush keeps everything neatly out of the way.

How It Works

Three E27 lampholders sit beneath a 40cm diameter shade, with the fitting standing 35cm proud of the ceiling. It is dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable lamp and dimmer switch, and each holder is rated to take a 60W lamp, though an LED equivalent is recommended for everyday use.

Where It Works Best

Because it sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a chain, this semi flush works well in bedrooms, landings and hallways where a pendant would hang at head height. The three lampholders still give a spread of light across the shade rather than a single central glow, so it reads as a proper light fitting rather than a flush light doing a smaller job.
