A Softer Take on Hector

The Hector Table Lamp pairs a handcrafted Tiffany style shade with a lighter polyester resin and steel base, giving the same rich, hand assembled glasswork as the rest of the range in a lamp that suits a bedside table as easily as a console.

Choosing Your Hector

Set against the Hector Medium Table Lamp's heavier die cast base and twin lamp output, this version runs a single E27 lamp on a lighter resin base at a very similar 58cm height. Choose this lamp where a single softer light source and a lighter build are preferable to the Medium's stronger twin lamp output.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder takes a 10W LED lamp, not supplied, and the fitting dims when fitted with a dimmable lamp and compatible dimmer. It is wired to Class II and supplied with an EU two pin plug fitted with a UK three pin adapter.

Where It Works Best

Its lighter build and single point of warm coloured light make it a natural fit for a bedside table or a reading corner, where the Medium Table Lamp's twin lamps and heavier base suit a hallway or living room console instead.

Made By Interiors 1900

Interiors 1900 has been making decorative lighting in Britain since 1983, starting out with handmade Tiffany style lamps and broadening over the following four decades into brass, crystal and classic ranges. The Hector name recalls Hector Guimard, the French Art Nouveau architect known for his Paris Metro entrances, and its shade is pieced together by hand from individual sections of coloured glass, so subtle variation in colour and texture between lamps is simply part of how each one is made.
