A Single Point of Colour
Hector Medium Pendant strips the range back to a single handcrafted Tiffany style shade on a long adjustable drop, letting the glasswork hang as its own feature over a table or reading corner rather than sharing the ceiling with two or three others.
Choosing Your Hector
Where the semi flush and flush fittings in this range sit close to the ceiling and the inverted pendant throws its light upward, this single light version hangs down for direct, focused illumination and the widest drop range in the family. It is the pick for a single pendant over a small table rather than a broader ceiling feature.
How It Works
A single E27 lamp holder takes a 60W GLS lamp, not supplied, and dims when used with a dimmable lamp and compatible dimmer. Wired to Class II, the drop adjusts generously between 42cm and 150cm, with a 40cm shade diameter.
Where It Works Best
The long adjustable drop makes this suited to stairwells and double height spaces as well as a low hang over a side table or reading chair, anywhere a single strong point of coloured light is wanted rather than an even spread across the ceiling.
Made By Interiors 1900
Interiors 1900 was established in 1983 and made its name with handmade Tiffany style lamps before growing, over more than forty years, into brass, crystal and classically styled lighting. The Hector range carries the name of Hector Guimard, the French Art Nouveau architect celebrated for his ironwork Metro entrances in Paris, and its shade is built by hand from individual pieces of coloured glass, so the exact pattern of colour on this pendant will be unique to it.
