Most of the Fargo range is built around a flatter, disc shaped shade, but this pendant wraps the same bent art glass into a full globe, giving the diamond pattern a rounder, more sculptural presence overhead.

The Globe Among the Discs

Where the Medium Pendant and Medium 2 Light Flush Fitting in this range use a flatter shade profile, this globe version is shaped differently while sitting at a similar 40cm scale, so it reads as a genuine style choice within the family rather than simply a size option. It runs on a single lamp and a long adjustable chain, much like the Medium Pendant, but the fully enclosed globe glows more evenly all the way round.

Where It Works Best

The globe shape gives a more even, all round glow than the flatter shades elsewhere in the range, which suits a spot where the fitting will be seen from several angles, over a kitchen island or in an open stairwell, for example. Against the Medium Pendant, the choice is really about shade shape rather than scale, since both share a similar size and single lamp fitting.

Shaping a full globe from bent art glass takes the same hand assembly as the flatter Fargo shades, piece by piece, so the finished globe carries the gentle variation in tone and soldering that comes with genuine handmade glasswork.
