A freestanding floor lamp built to the same 50cm scale as the largest pendants in the Fargo range, bringing the bent white art glass and diamond detailing down to floor level for a room without a pendant point overhead.

The Floor Standing Option

At 157.5cm tall, this is the tallest single piece in the Fargo range, and its shade matches the width of the Large Inverted pendant and the standard 3 Light Pendant, so it can sit alongside either without looking mismatched. Where those pendants need a ceiling fixing, this lamp only needs floor space, making it the practical choice for a rented room or a spot with no suitable ceiling point.

How It Works

• Two E27 screw in lamps, 60W maximum per lamp
• Fixed height, not dimmable as standard (use a dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer switch if dimming is wanted)
• Freestanding, no fixing to floor or wall required

Where It Works Best

The height and wide shade suit a living room corner, beside a sofa or an empty stretch of hallway where a tall, freestanding light does more for the space than a table lamp would. It gives a similar spread of coloured light to the Fargo pendants above it, without needing any wiring into the ceiling.

Since 1983, Interiors 1900 has built its name on handmade Tiffany style lighting, and the Fargo range extends that craft into an Art Deco idiom, with bent white art glass and geometric diamond detailing across floor lamps, table lamps, wall lights and several pendant styles. Every Fargo shade, this floor lamp included, is assembled from individual pieces of glass cut and shaped by hand, which is why the pearlescent finish varies gently in tone from one lamp to the next rather than looking machine identical. Interiors 1900 forms part of the Poole Lighting group, alongside Endon and Saxby, at the more decorative end of that stable.
