A Wider Spread of Flame

This is the standard hanging version of the Medium Dragonfly Flame pendant, three lamps behind coloured glass on a chain long enough to drop properly over a table rather than sit flush to the ceiling.

Where This Sits in the Range

The 40cm shade puts this pendant in the Medium tier of the Dragonfly Flame family, the same shade size as the Medium Inverted 3 Light pendant, but hung the conventional way up rather than inverted, and on a much longer adjustable chain. Against the flush fitting in this range it offers a proper pendant drop for rooms with ceiling height to spare, and against the Large 3 Light pendant it is the smaller, more contained option for a table rather than a wide room.

Where It Works Best

The long adjustable chain makes this a good match for a dining table beneath a standard ceiling height, or a stairwell where the drop needs to be set well below the ceiling line. It gives a similar spread of light to the Large 3 Light pendant but in a slightly more compact shade, so it suits a smaller table or a room where the wider fitting would look oversized.
