Flame Light for a Low Ceiling

Not every room can take a hanging pendant. This flush fitting keeps the same warm Dragonfly wing glass close to the ceiling, so a landing, low box room or attic bedroom can still carry the colour and craft of the range without losing headroom.

The Compact Choice in the Family

At 41cm across, this flush fitting is closer in scale to the Medium pendants in the Dragonfly Flame range than to the fifty centimetre Large pendant, but it trades the chain drop for a low profile fitted almost flat to the ceiling. Where the Medium 3 Light and Medium Inverted pendants hang down on a chain, this one is the option for rooms where a few centimetres of clearance matters more than a dramatic drop.

Where It Works Best

Because it sits so close to the ceiling, this fitting suits hallways, landings and rooms with low or sloped ceilings where the Large or Medium pendants in this range would hang too low to walk under comfortably. It still gives two lamps' worth of coloured glass, so it works as a genuine light source rather than a purely decorative accent.

Each shade, including this flush fitting's, is built from individual pieces of coloured glass cut and leaded together by hand, so faint differences in shade and line between fittings are a mark of genuine handmade glasswork rather than a manufacturing fault.
