Big Character, Smaller Footprint
The Dragonfly Beige Small Table Lamp carries the same leaded glass dragonfly motif as the rest of the range, just scaled down to fit a smaller table or a spot where the Medium lamp would simply take up too much room.
Why Beige
Worked in ivory, honey and amber glass, the Beige colourway is the calmest version of the Dragonfly pattern, more suited to rooms built around natural materials and warm neutrals than the cooler blues elsewhere in the design. On a smaller shade, that restraint keeps the lamp decorative without it becoming the focal point of the room.
How It Works
Standing 555mm tall with a 300mm diameter shade, this lamp takes 2 x 60W E27 (ES) lamps, not included, and is dimmable with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer.
Where It Works Best
Its smaller diameter makes it a better fit than the Medium Table Lamp for a bedside table, a narrow console, or anywhere surface space is limited, while the Mini Table Lamp in the wider Dragonfly range goes smaller again for the tightest spots.
Made By Interiors 1900
Interiors 1900 has been making Tiffany style lamps since 1983, and this smaller shade is built using exactly the same hand technique as the largest pieces in the collection, coloured glass mixed while molten, then cut and leaded by hand into place. Interiors 1900 is clear that this is why every shade has its own subtle variation, a mark of the process rather than an inconsistency. Even at this size, the lamp carries that four decade old craft into a compact, everyday piece.
