A Lamp Built To Be Noticed
Set on a side table or console, the Dragonfly Beige Medium Table Lamp puts its stained glass shade at exactly the height where you'll actually look at it, rather than up on a ceiling. It is the largest table lamp in the Beige family, with a shade sized to match.
Why Beige
This colourway works the Dragonfly pattern in ivory, honey and amber glass, quieter and warmer than the blues and greens elsewhere in the design. At table lamp height, where the glasswork is seen up close, that softness reads as refined rather than muted, and pairs easily with wood, brass and neutral fabrics.
How It Works
The lamp stands approximately 580mm tall with a 410mm diameter shade, and takes 2 x 60W E27 (ES) lamps, not included. It is operated by a simple switch at the lampholder and is dimmable when fitted with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer.
Where It Works Best
Its larger shade gives more light and more presence than the Small Table Lamp in the same range, making it the better choice on a substantial console table or sideboard rather than a narrow bedside table, where the Small or Mini versions sit more comfortably.

Table lamps like this one are close to where Interiors 1900 started in 1983, making Tiffany style lighting by hand in the traditional way. Coloured glass is mixed while molten and then cut into the individual pieces that make up each shade, and Interiors 1900 notes that the resulting variation in colour and texture is exactly what gives every piece its own character. More than forty years on, that same hand assembly still goes into every Dragonfly shade the brand makes.
