Not every room has the height for a hanging pendant, and the Dragonfly Beige Medium 2 Light Flush Fitting is built for exactly that situation. It sits close against the ceiling but loses none of the leaded glasswork that makes the wider Dragonfly design worth having.

Why Beige

The Beige colourway keeps the dragonfly motif soft, working through ivory, honey and amber glass rather than the cooler blues found elsewhere in the range. Fitted flush, the shade is seen mostly from below and at an angle, and this warmer palette tends to read well against both light and darker ceiling colours.

How It Works

The fitting projects only 210mm from the ceiling with a 410mm diameter shade, and takes 2 x 60W E27 (ES) lamps, not included. It is dimmable when used with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer, so light levels can be adjusted without losing the flush profile that makes it useful in low rooms.

Where It Works Best

This is the fitting to choose over the hanging pendants in the Dragonfly Beige family wherever ceiling height is tight, in landings, box rooms, or period properties with lower original ceilings. Where height allows, the Medium 3 Light Pendant gives a larger and more dramatic shade in a similar spot.

Since 1983, Interiors 1900 has built its reputation on Tiffany style lighting made using genuinely old fashioned methods, mixing coloured glass while molten and cutting each panel by hand. Interiors 1900 points out that this is precisely why no two shades are ever perfectly identical, small variation is simply part of the process.
