Dark Star Semi Flush, a Third Lamp for a Fuller Glow

One lamp more than the Dark Star flush fitting, set into the same 49cm dome of iridescent black and pearly cream glass, giving a noticeably fuller light while still sitting close against the ceiling. An inline switch on the cable makes it easy to control independently of a wall switch if needed.

Choosing Your Dark Star Piece

Compared with the two lamp flush fitting, this semi flush trades a little extra depth, around 34cm rather than 24cm, for a third lamp and a brighter overall output. Choose this over the flush version where the room needs more light, and the flush version where absolute ceiling clearance matters most.

How It Works

Three E27 lamps, rated up to 60W each, sit within the shade on a dark antique finished base, and the fitting can be used with LED lamps for a longer lasting light source. An inline cable switch is fitted as standard for straightforward on and off control.

Where It Works Best

Its extra light output suits living rooms and dining spaces where the Dark Star palette needs to do more work, while its still shallow profile keeps it viable for rooms with limited ceiling height. Alongside the Dark Star Large Inverted Pendant, it offers a lower profile alternative with the same three lamp brightness.

Made By Interiors 1900

Interiors 1900 first built its name in 1983 on handmade Tiffany style lamps, and the Dark Star collection shows that same technique reworked in a cooler, more Art Deco inspired palette. The glass is hand mixed while molten and cut into individual panels before assembly, so each shade carries its own slight variation in colour and iridescence. That handmade character sits at the heart of a brand positioned above high street lighting but below bespoke architectural fittings.
