Dark Star Flush, Iridescent Glass Set Close to the Ceiling

A wide, shallow dome that sits flush against the ceiling, showing off the Dark Star shade's iridescent black and cream glasswork from below without the drop of a pendant. It reads as a single softly glowing disc, its colours shifting subtly as the light changes through the day.

Choosing Your Dark Star Piece

This flush fitting shares its 49cm diameter with the Dark Star semi flush and inverted pendant, but sits closest to the ceiling of the three, making it the choice for rooms with the least headroom. Its two lamps give a slightly more restrained output than the three lamp semi flush.

How It Works

Two E27 lamps, rated up to 40W each, sit behind the glass, and the fitting is dimmable when used with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer switch. At around 24cm deep and 1.7kg, it is light enough for straightforward ceiling fixing.

Where It Works Best

Its close fitting profile suits hallways, landings and lower ceilinged bedrooms where the semi flush or inverted pendant would sit too low. It works well as a quieter companion piece to a Dark Star pendant used elsewhere in an open plan space.
