Choosing Your Brooklyn Piece

At under 20cm high and 15cm deep, this is by far the smallest fitting in the Brooklyn range, designed to be used in pairs or repeated along a wall rather than as a single feature. Choose it to complement one of the larger Brooklyn pendants or flush fittings in the same room, echoing the glasswork at a lower level.

How It Works

A single E14 lamp, rated up to 40W, powers the fitting, and it is dimmable when used with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer switch. It is Class II double insulated, so it does not require an earth connection.

Where It Works Best

Its compact, close fitting shape suits hallways, staircases and either side of a fireplace or headboard, anywhere a low level accent light is wanted rather than a main source of illumination. Paired with the Brooklyn Medium Single Pendant overhead, it builds a layered lighting scheme from a single glass palette.

The curved shade is built from individual pieces of coloured glass, cut and leaded by hand, so minor variation from one fitting to the next is a natural result of the process. The brand's broader collections have since grown to include brass and crystal lighting, but small, detailed pieces like this wall light remain close to its founding Tiffany work.
