Turn the Ashton glasswork upside down and the dragonfly and lily motif becomes something closer to a bowl of light, glowing upward as much as down. The Large Inverted 3 Light Pendant hangs on an adjustable chain rather than sitting close to the ceiling, giving the coloured glass room to breathe in a way the range's flush fittings cannot.

Choosing Your Ashton Fitting

All three Ashton fittings share the same glass, so the decision comes down to drop and presence. This inverted pendant hangs on a chain adjustable between roughly 60cm and 100cm, by far the most flexible of the range, letting you set the shade low over a table or higher for general room lighting. Where ceiling height or room layout rules out a hanging pendant, the Semi Flush and flush 2 Light fittings carry the same design closer to the ceiling.

How It Works

Three E27 lamp holders sit within the inverted bowl, each rated for lamps up to 60W and dimmable when paired with a suitable dimmable LED lamp and compatible dimmer switch. The chain length is adjustable at installation, so the fitting can be set to suit both the ceiling height and the furniture beneath it. Satin black metalwork holds the glass in a fine frame that lets the coloured panels do the work.

Its adjustable drop and open, upward facing glass make this the Ashton fitting for dining tables and living room seating areas where you want a genuine pendant, not just a ceiling mounted alternative. It is the most sculptural of the three siblings, better suited to a room built around it as a feature than to a hallway or landing where the flush fitting would be the practical choice.
