Hunza Wall Down Light Ultra 50 - Powder Coat - Mains

An industrial grade wash light for demanding settings

The Hunza Down Light Ultra 50 sits at the top of Hunza's Down Light range, built, in Hunza's words, as a strong industrial grade fitting for commercial as well as garden use. It keeps the same fixed head wash lighting principle as the rest of the range, aimed at wall washing or highlighting architectural features and structural elements, but in a larger, heavier duty housing than the standard Down Light.

The powder coated finish

Available in Hunza's standard powder coated colours, with Black as the standard shade and other colours, including Dark Grey, made to order. As with the rest of the powder coated range, colours are for indication only and can vary slightly batch to batch.

How it works

Hunza specifies Cree CXA LED chips for the Ultra 50, a chip series the brand states is chosen for output and long service life. At the point of ordering you choose colour temperature (3000K or 4000K) and beam angle (22°, 33° or 51°). The LED is integrated rather than a replaceable lamp, and this version runs on mains with no separate driver required. As a sleeker, more contemporary take on the Down Light form factor, it's built for sustained use in demanding, higher traffic settings rather than a domestic one off.

Where it works best

Hunza positions this as suited to commercial and larger scale applications, wall washing building facades, highlighting structural or architectural features, anywhere the standard domestic Down Light range would be under specified for the scale of the job.
