A High Output Wash Light for Larger Walls

The Hunza Wall Down Light Ultra 50 is the high output fitting in the Down Light family: a fixed head wash light that can face down or up on a vertical surface for a dramatic wash of light over walls and architectural features. This is the mains version, with the driver built in.

The Powder Coated Finish

The Ultra 50 has a powder coated aluminium body. Black is the standard colour and other colours are made to order. As with the rest of the powder coated range, colours shown are for indication only.

How It Works

• An integrated Cree CXA 2540 LED board, field replaceable, so there is no separate lamp to buy. Hunza quotes an LED life of 50,000 hours to L70.
• Output is 5,000 lumens from 52 watts, around 96 lumens per watt delivered, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
• Choose a colour temperature of 3000K or 4000K when you order.
• Choose a beam angle of 22, 33 or 51 degrees to match the size of the surface.
• Mains version with an integral retro driver for a 90 to 305V AC supply, so no transformer or separate driver is required.
• Rated IP66, with a 5 year warranty on the aluminium and on the electronics.
• Hunza makes a glare guard, glare shield, snoot, hex cell louvre and wall plate for the Ultra 50 if you want to control glare or change the mounting.

• This fitting is made to order and non returnable unless faulty. Orders cannot be cancelled once placed, so check colour, colour temperature and beam angle first.
• The LED is integrated, so no lamp is needed.
• It runs on mains through its built in driver, so you do not add a transformer or driver.
• Installation by a registered NICEIC electrician is recommended.

How does the Ultra 50 differ from the standard Wall Down Light?

It can be used at home, but at 5,000 lumens it is a lot of light for a small wall. For a typical garden wall, the standard Wall Down Light range is usually a better fit.
