Hunza Tree Mount Kit (Rubber Strap)

Light From Up in the Trees

The Hunza Tree Mount Kit is used to mount the Hunza NPS Spot in a tree, to create moon lighting effects, to light high canopies or for high level cross illumination. The kit comes with a female NPS adaptor, and the NPS Spot screws into its 1/2 inch NPS thread.

What Is in the Kit

• A mounting dome in black UV stable glass filled polypropylene, with enough space underneath for a cable connection at the rear of the dome.
• A one metre adjustable rubber strap, 16mm wide, that expands as the tree grows. Hunza notes that a longer strap is made for larger trees, so ask us if your trunk is wide.
• A snap in female 1/2 inch NPS adaptor.
• Dimensions: dome 106mm in diameter and 41mm high, strap 1000mm.

How We Plan and Install Hunza Lighting

Hunza has been part of our garden schemes since 2003. We design the lighting scheme, supply Hunza fittings and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. Our Design Service page carries photographs of our own completed projects and explains how we plan and draw them up. Visit the page if you are thinking of lighting a tree.

Good to Know

• Designed for the Hunza NPS Spot, which screws into the 1/2 inch NPS adaptor.
• Hunza lists it as suitable for aluminium, copper and 316 stainless steel luminaires.
• The strap is tightened against the tree to hold the dome in place.
• Usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
