Stainless Steel Step Light for Safe, Neat Lighting Underfoot
Good step lighting does two jobs at once. It helps people see where they are putting their feet, and it shapes how a garden looks after dark. The Hunza Step Light is a low voltage recessed fitting with an 88mm flange for flush mounting into masonry, stone or wood, and this one is made in marine grade 316 stainless steel.
Brushed Stainless Steel, Built for the Weather
The finish stays consistent over time, with none of the colour shift of copper or bronze. In some environments the steel can pick up a light surface tarnish, and regular washing keeps it looking crisp. A powder coated aluminium version is also made if you want a colour instead.
How It Works
- Recessed body 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long, fitting a 63.5mm cut out.
- 88mm flange, 7mm deep, with 1m of cable supplied.
- Mounting holes are included, but if you install it using a canister you will not need them.
- Lamp not included. It needs a Hunza approved LED lamp (MR16) so the IP rating and warranty are kept.
- Low voltage and wired in parallel, with a transformer needed, sold separately.
- IP67 rated and covered by a 10 year warranty.
- Two options are listed, With and Without, so choose the one you need at checkout.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- The lamp and transformer are not included.
- Stainless steel can develop a light surface tarnish in some environments, so wash it now and then.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Is a separate transformer required?
Yes. It is a low voltage fitting wired in parallel, so a transformer is required and sold separately.
Will it still be covered if I use any LED lamp?
The IP rating and warranty are maintained only when a Hunza approved LED lamp is used.

It is rated IP67 and carries a 10 year warranty.
