Brushed Stainless for Steps and Stonework
Cut into a wall, riser or paved edge, the Hunza Square Step Light in stainless steel puts a clean metal face at the surface and a soft wash of light on the ground ahead. It is made for flush mounting in masonry, stone or wood, and its square shape sits neatly against straight stone and timber lines. Besides step lighting, it works across paved areas and driveways, or as a recessed uplighter. This low voltage version runs from a transformer.
Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel
This fitting is made from solid 316 stainless steel, the marine grade chosen for outdoor use. It keeps a consistent brushed finish, though in some environments it can pick up a light surface tarnish. Washing it regularly keeps that in check. Unused, uninstalled fittings in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days.
How It Works
- Recessed body 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long, with a 63.5mm cut out.
- An 88mm wide flange, 7mm deep, finishes the edge of the opening. 1m of cable is supplied.
- Mounting holes come as standard, and are not needed when you install using a canister.
- The lamp is an MR16 and is sold separately. Use a Hunza approved LED lamp so the IP rating and warranty stay intact.
- Low voltage and wired in parallel, so it requires a transformer.
- IP67 rated, with a 10 year warranty.
- If you prefer mains, the same step light is made in a GU10 version.
