A Recessed Eyelid Step Light in Powder Coat
The Hunza Step Light Eyelid is a small recessed fitting made for the side wall of an outdoor step, low wall or path edge. Its curved eyelid hood covers the top half of the lamp face, sending light down across the tread or path below instead of out towards eye level. It is a discreet, low profile way to mark a change in level after dark.
Powder Coated Aluminium
This version is cast aluminium finished in a durable powder coat, applied to withstand ongoing outdoor exposure without the colour shift you get with a natural metal like copper. It is available in a choice of finishes, including black, white, grey, silver, green, brown and bronze. Because the colour is a coating rather than the raw material itself, it stays consistent for years rather than weathering or patinating. Screen colours vary, so ask us for a physical swatch if you need to match a specific finish exactly.
How It Works
The eyelid hood is fixed in place at manufacture, so it always shades roughly half of the lamp and directs light down and forward across the step. It does not tilt, rotate or adjust once installed.

Because the powder coat comes in several colours, it is easy to pick a finish that disappears into brick, render or timber rather than standing out during the day.
