An integrated LED spotlight for existing mains circuits

The Hunza Pure LED Wall Spot Retro has the same fully adjustable arm as the standard Wall Spot, 360 degree rotation and 0 to 90 degree elevation, with the LED built in. Retro describes how it wires into an existing mains circuit, suited to replacing an older fitting without adding low voltage cable. This version comes in Hunza's powder coated aluminium finish.

The powder coated finish

Colour is baked onto the aluminium body rather than sprayed on as wet paint, in seven options: Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard shades, the rest are made to order, and colours are for indication only, with swatches available on request.

How It Works

The LED sits inside the fitting, with parts Hunza describes as serviceable. Choose colour temperature, beam angle and lens when ordering: 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, 15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees, clear or frosted. The head measures 63.5mm in diameter and 75mm long, with a 45mm arm and a 78mm diameter, 55mm deep wall base, the extra depth housing the mains connection. It runs at 420 lumens from 4 watts, with the driver built into the fitting so no separate driver or transformer is needed.

Good for the same single features as the standard Wall Spot, and particularly useful on retrofit jobs replacing an existing mains fitting where you also want a specific powder coat colour to match the building.

What does Retro mean on this fitting?
It refers to how it wires in, onto an existing mains circuit as a straightforward retrofit, rather than needing new low voltage cable and a transformer run out to it.

Which powder coat colours are held in stock?
Black and Bronze are Hunza's standard shades and normally ship fastest. The other five are made to order, take longer, and are non-returnable once ordered.

Can I change the LED colour temperature later?
No. Colour temperature, beam angle and lens are chosen at the point of ordering and built into the fitting, so they cannot be swapped afterwards.

Is this dimmable?
No. This mains PureLED Retro version is not dimmable. If dimming matters to your scheme, the low voltage PureLED Wall Spot can be dimmed with a suitable dimmable driver.
