A Mains Path Light With No Driver to Hide
The Hunza Pure LED Walkway Light Retro takes the discreet look of the walkway pole and builds the driver into the fitting. It connects to the mains, so there is no remote driver to find a spot for. Its subtle, unobtrusive appearance lets it blend into the landscape, and it gives soft, effective pathway illumination without glare.
Copper That Settles Into the Garden
This Retro is made in copper and is left to age naturally outdoors. Fresh from the box it is bright and warm. In time it browns and can turn green, a patina that helps it merge into borders and beds. If you would prefer a finish that does not change, look at the stainless steel walkway lights in the range.
How It Works
- An integrated Cree LED chip with serviceable parts, giving 120 lumens from 2 watts and a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Available in 2200K, 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
- The pole is 25mm in diameter, widening to 63.5mm at its widest point where the driver sits, and is 685mm long. The arm is 165mm, and 1m of cable is supplied.
- Mains powered with no driver required, wired in parallel. Not dimmable.
- IP44 protection, plus a 10 year warranty that includes 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
- Beside a path that already has a mains supply nearby
- Close to a house, where running low voltage cable would be awkward
- Along a short walk to a gate or garden door
- Next to a patio edge, as a quiet marker light
Moonlight Design and Hunza
Hunza fittings have been part of our work at Moonlight Design since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply the Hunza fittings and install them. Our Design Service page shows photographs of our own completed schemes, explaining how we plan, draw up and install each one with NICEIC registered electricians. Come and look if you want a hand deciding between mains and low voltage.
Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- This is the mains version, so it needs no remote driver and cannot be dimmed.
- Expect the copper to change colour over time outdoors. That is the natural patina, not a defect.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
