A Flush Fitting Light for Steps and Paving in Solid Copper

The Hunza Pure LED Step Light sits flush in a step riser, a wall or a paved surface and throws a low, even wash of light across the ground in front of it. It is the quiet kind of lighting that lets you see where you are walking without announcing itself. This is the low voltage version in copper, with a Cree LED chip built in, so there is no lamp to hunt for later.

Copper That Warms and Deepens Outdoors

The body is solid copper, not a coating, and Hunza designs it to weather naturally. It starts out bright and warm, then slowly darkens to brown and, given time, a soft green. Set into stonework, that ageing tends to look better with every year rather than worse. If you would prefer a finish that holds its look, the same step light is also made in 316 stainless steel and powder coated aluminium.

How It Works

A round 88mm flange sits neatly against the surface, with a recessed body 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long behind it. The flange is 7mm deep, and the cut out size is 63.5mm.
It fits into masonry, stone or wood. Mounting holes are fitted as standard, and if you install it using a canister the holes are not needed.
The Cree LED chip gives 600 lumens from 6 watts at 1050mA, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K. The parts are serviceable.
Pick a colour temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K), a beam angle (15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees) and a clear or frosted lens when you order.
Low voltage and wired in series, so it needs a remote LED driver such as the Hunza 1050mA driver, sold separately. It can be dimmed if you use a suitable dimmable driver.
Supplied with 1m of cable. Rated IP67, with a 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.

Questions People Ask

Can this step light be recessed into a canister?
