A Recessed Underwater Light With No Screws on Show

The Hunza Pure LED Pool Light D10 is an underwater luminaire designed for recessed installation in swimming pools. It is held in its PVC canister by two O rings, so there are no mounting screws in the flange to spoil the look of the pool wall. A PVC canister is supplied with the light.

Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel, Electro Polished

The body is marine grade 316 stainless steel, electro polished to increase corrosion protection. 316 stainless is suitable for situations of up to 1000 parts per million of chloride. Pool chemistry matters, though. Out of balance pool chemicals may cause any luminaire to corrode at a rapid rate, and in salt water an increase in water temperature of 10 degrees will double the corrosion factor. Where an automatic chlorinator is used, an excess amount of chlorine may be produced, so keep your water balanced.

How It Works

• Fully submersible up to 9m and tested to IP68.
• Up to 600mm (2 ft) of cable can be coiled inside the canister, so the fitting can be lifted out above the water line for servicing.
• The Cree LED gives 600 lumens from 6 watts, with CRI 90 or more at 3000K. The parts are serviceable.
• Choose 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, and a beam angle of 15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees.
• Recessed body 63.5mm diameter and 68.5mm long, with a 125mm diameter flange 10mm deep. 6m of cable is supplied.
• Supplied with a 12V integral driver or convertor, but it still needs a remote transformer and parallel wiring. Dimmable with a suitable transformer.
• 10 year warranty, with 5 years on the LED.

• Steps and shallow ends, with a wider beam to soften the light
• Pools where a clean flange with no visible fixings suits the design
• Deeper pools, as the fitting is rated to 9m
