A Freestanding Steel Pond Light With the LED Built In

The Hunza Pure LED Weighted Base Pond Light in Stainless Steel sits on the pond floor under its own weight, with the LED chip built into the fitting itself. There is no separate lamp to source or replace, and nothing to drill or fix through the liner, so it suits an established pond just as easily as a new build.

Marine Grade Stainless Steel

The lamp head, yoke and weighted base are made from 316 grade marine stainless steel throughout. It is the same grade used on boats and coastal architecture, chosen because it copes with constant water contact and salt air without pitting or staining. Left in its natural brushed finish, it has a clean, understated look that suits a contemporary formal pond just as well as a traditional water garden.

How It Works

• The lamp head tilts within its yoke, and because the whole fitting is freestanding you can turn or reposition the base by hand to aim the beam where you need it.
• Built around a replaceable Cree LED chip delivering 600 lumens at 6 watts, with a CRI of 90+ at 3000K for natural, true to life colour rendering underwater.
• Choose from 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K colour temperature, 15, 25, 38 or 60 degree beam angle, and a clear or frosted lens.
• Rated IP68 and fully submersible on a continuous basis, up to 2 metres deep.
• Lamp head measures 63.5mm in diameter and 75mm in length. The weighted base is 78mm in diameter and 45mm high. Supplied with 3 metres of cable.
• Runs on low voltage and needs a compatible transformer, sold separately. Dimmable if paired with a suitable dimmable transformer.

Where It Works Best

This is a good fit for decorative garden ponds, koi ponds, wildlife ponds, natural ponds, water gardens, ornamental lakes and fountains, anywhere you want a light that sits freely on the pond floor rather than fixing to an edge. It is not designed for swimming pool use.
