Description

For those who want Hunza's PureLED integrated technology in a pond light that can be placed without drilling or fixing into the pond structure, the newly modified PureLED Pond Light, with a weighted base, made from Stainless Steel with a Powder Coat finish is the answer. The heavy weighted base sits on the floor of the pond under its own weight, making this one of the most flexible and installer friendly options in the entire Hunza underwater lighting range.

The ability to reposition the light as the planting evolves, as koi move territories or as you simply change your mind about where you want the illumination to fall is a real practical benefit that fixed installation lights simply cannot offer. And with the PureLED integral 12V driver built into the body of the fitting, there is no separate lamp to source or replace, no external driver to house, and no compromise on light quality or energy efficiency.

The PureLED module reduces energy consumption by over 80 percent compared to older lamp based technology, runs completely cool to the touch, and is rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. The marine grade stainless steel body carries a UV stable matt powder coat finish in a choice of colours including matt black, matt bronze, matt dark grey and matt olive green, allowing the fitting to blend into the underwater environment and disappear visually during daylight hours. All fittings are hand assembled in New Zealand and rated to IP68 for continuous full submersion.

The adjustable arm gives full beam direction control across a wide range of beam angles and colour temperatures, making this fitting equally suited to intimate decorative ponds, larger wildlife ponds and everything in between. Ideal for garden ponds of all kinds, koi ponds, natural swimming ponds, wildlife ponds, water gardens, ornamental water features, rills and decorative fountains. Not suitable for swimming pool installation.
