The Hunza Pure LED Path Light 2 Facet 180º is a small recessed ground light with two light windows built into its lens, positioned so their beams merge into one broad spread rather than two separate points. It sits flush into paving, decking or a lawn edge with only the copper disc visible at ground level.
The Copper Finish
This version is finished in solid copper, which has a warm polished tone when new and will patinate and darken naturally with weathering, a trait many gardeners like about copper outdoor fittings. A small Hunza "H" mark sits centrally on the disc.
How It Works
- Two wide windows are cut into the custom made TIR borosilicate glass lens, positioned side by side so their light meets in the middle rather than shining from opposite ends of the fitting. Together they cast a broader spread of light than the single window 1 Facet version.
- The recessed body is 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long, with a 63.5mm cut out size. The flange measures 88mm across and around 20mm deep, supplied with a 1m cable.
- An integrated, replaceable Cree LED chip gives 600 lumens (6 watts, 1050mA) at CRI 90+, in 2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K.
- Dimmable with a suitable dimmable driver.
- Runs on low voltage, wired in series with a remote driver, as with all Pure LED fittings.
- IP67 rated, with the lens keeping dirt, mud, grass clippings and water off the optics.
- 10 year warranty, 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
The wider, merged spread of light makes the 2 Facet 180º a good choice for a broader path or driveway edge where a single window would leave too narrow a beam, for lighting a courtyard from ground level, or for a repeated run of lights spaced along a route where the light from each fitting should blend into the next.
Our Own Installations
The extra photographs on this page, showing driveways, paths and courtyards lit at night, are Moonlight Design's own designs and installations rather than stock imagery. They show multiple recessed Hunza path lights working together along real driveways and paths, which gives a better sense of the spread of light than a single studio photograph can. None of the five photographs are close enough to confirm this copper finish specifically, so use the studio photograph above for the metal itself.
Good to Know
- Usually ships in 2–3 days. If out of stock, allow 3–5 weeks.
- Returns are accepted within 14 days if unused, uninstalled and in original packaging.
- The Cree LED chip is integrated and replaceable, so there is no separate bulb to buy.
- A compatible remote driver is required and may need to be ordered separately.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
- This copper finish is not rated for vehicles to drive over it. Choose the stainless steel finish if you need a drive over rated fitting.
- Colours are indicative only. Physical swatches are available on request.
Questions People Ask
What does "180º" mean on this light?
It refers to the layout of the two light windows in the lens. On this version the two windows sit side by side low in the lens so their beams merge into one wide spread, rather than being split to opposite sides of the fitting.
How is this different from the 2 Facet Opposites version?
Both have two light windows, but they are arranged differently. The 180º version has two wider windows that merge into one broad spread of light. The Opposites version has two narrower windows set directly across from each other, throwing two separate beams in exactly opposite directions.
Can this copper version be driven over?
No, the copper finish is not drive over rated. If you need a light that can take vehicle weight, choose the stainless steel version of this fitting.
What driver does it need?
A compatible remote LED driver wired in series, not a plug in transformer. Your electrician can size the driver correctly for the number of fittings on the circuit.
Is the light source replaceable?
The Cree LED chip is integrated into the fitting rather than a swap in bulb, but it can be serviced and replaced rather than being sealed for life.
