The Mains Twin Pole Light, Ready to Connect
The Retro version of the Hunza Pure LED Euro Twin Pole Light does the same job as the low voltage model, but runs from the mains with no separate driver. Two small spotlights sit on a slim 800mm pole, aimed wherever you need them, to light paths and low planting. Turn the heads downward and no light reaches upward at all. It is a tidy option when you would rather not run low voltage cable.
Stainless Steel Made for the Weather
The metalwork is marine grade 316 stainless steel with a consistent brushed finish. Like all stainless it can pick up a light surface tarnish in some environments, and a regular wash keeps it in check. The Retro pole light is also made in solid copper if you prefer a finish that changes over time.
How It Works
- Both arms rotate 360 degrees and tilt 0 to 90 degrees, and each head has a built in glare guard.
- There is a Cree LED chip in each head, delivering 420 lumens from 4 watts at 700mA with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Choose colour temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K), beam angle (15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees) and a clear or frosted lens when ordering.
- The head bodies measure 44mm across by 80mm long. The pole is 38mm across (63.5mm at its widest point) and 800mm long, with 1m of cable supplied.
- Runs from the mains, so no driver is required. It is wired in parallel.
- This version is not dimmable.
- Carries an IP56/IP66 rating and a 10 year warranty, with 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
- Beside a driveway or garden path where a mains supply is already close
- In a long border where you want identical fittings without a driver for each run
- Next to steps or a terrace edge, with the heads turned down
- Wherever a simple mains connection suits the project better than low voltage cabling
Garden Lighting Schemes by Moonlight Design
Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. Have a look at the project photographs on our Design Service page, which show our own completed schemes and how we plan, draw up and install them. It is a useful read if you want to see how mains and low voltage lights are mixed in one garden.
