Copper Dual Lighter Without the Driver
If you like the idea of a pillar light with a pagoda lens but would rather run from the mains, the Hunza Pure LED Dual Lighter Retro is the one. The pagoda end reflects light horizontally and upwards for general lighting, and the pillar end lights up or down. The Cree LED chip is integrated, the parts are serviceable, and no separate driver is required.
Solid Copper That Mellows Outdoors
This one is solid copper. Hunza designs it to be left outside, where it moves from bright and warm to brown and later a soft green. It is a natural process and nothing to be concerned about. Stainless steel and powder coated aluminium versions of the Retro are also available for a more constant look.
How It Works
- General light from the pagoda lens, plus a directed effect at the pillar end.
- 340 lumens at 700mA from 4 watts, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Pick a colour temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K), a beam angle (15, 25, 38 or 60 degrees) and a clear or frosted lens.
- Body diameter 63.5mm and length 202mm, with a 78mm base 55mm deep and 1m of cable.
- Mains version, with 6vF per end and 12vF in total listed. No driver is required.
- Not dimmable.
- IP66 rated, 10 year warranty and 5 years on the LED.
Where It Works Best
- On piers near a house where mains power is easy to reach
- At a garden room or garage entrance
- On a stone wall that suits a warm metal tone
- Beside steps where a narrow beam can pick out the treads
Planned by Moonlight Design
Our work with Hunza dates back to 2003. Moonlight Design designs lighting schemes for gardens, supplies Hunza fittings and installs them. Our Design Service page shows photographs of our own completed schemes and how we plan, draw up and install them with NICEIC registered electricians.
