A Living Finish with the Simplicity of a Mains Retrofit
This version pairs the mains powered, no driver PureLED Retro fitting with uncoated solid bronze and copper, so it can be wired straight into an existing lighting circuit while still ageing naturally the way garden metalwork always has.
Solid Bronze and Copper
Left unlacquered, the bronze and copper used here will darken and develop a natural patina with weather exposure rather than staying bright, in the same way an old copper gutter or bronze door fitting does. This is expected and part of the character of the material rather than a fault.
How It Works
- Wires directly into your mains lighting circuit, with no separate driver required.
- The integrated Cree LED chip is field replaceable, outputting 120 lumens at 2 watts.
- The head rotates 360 degrees and tilts from 0 to 90 degrees on a fully adjustable arm.
- Rated IP56/IP66, and backed by a 10 year warranty on the fitting, with the LED chip covered for 5 years.
Where It Works Best
The warm, ageing tone of bronze and copper suits traditional and period gardens especially well, particularly against brick, stone and established planting, while the mains retrofit design means it can replace an older light without new low voltage wiring.

Hunza has hand assembled outdoor lighting in Auckland, New Zealand for more than 30 years, according to the brand, building its solid bronze and copper fittings with the expectation that they will be left outside permanently to age naturally.
Good to Know
- Supplied in 850mm only.
- The solid bronze and copper finish will darken and patina naturally with weather exposure. This is normal and does not need to be prevented or polished away.
- The Cree LED chip is built in, so there is no separate bulb to buy.
- Moonlight Design recommends that all outdoor lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
