An Underwater Light That Sits Flush in the Pool Wall
The Hunza Pool Light is an underwater luminaire designed for recessed installation in swimming pools. It is fully submersible and tested to an IP68 water protection rating. With no mounting screws in the flange to spoil its looks, it sits neatly and quietly in the pool wall.
Electro Polished 316 Stainless Steel
The body is marine grade 316 stainless steel, electro polished to increase corrosion protection. Pool water is a demanding environment, and out of balance chemicals can make any luminaire corrode at a rapid rate. In salt water an increase in water temperature of 10 degrees will double the corrosion factor, and 316 stainless is suitable for situations of up to 1000 parts per million of chloride. Where an automatic chlorinator is used, an excess of chlorine may be produced, so keep your pool chemistry balanced.
How It Works
- The fitting is held in its PVC canister by two O rings, and the canister is supplied with the light.
- Up to 600mm (2 ft) of cable can be coiled inside the canister, so the luminaire can be lifted out for lamp changing above the water line.
- The lamp is not supplied. A Hunza approved LED lamp must be used to maintain the IP rating and warranty.
- Recessed body 63.5mm in diameter and 68.5mm long, with a flange 125mm across and 10mm deep, supplied with 6m of cable.
- Low voltage and wired in parallel, so it needs a transformer.
- Dimmable, provided dimmable LEDs are installed.
- IP68 rated with a 10 year warranty.

Can I change the lamp without draining the pool?
Yes. Up to 600mm of cable can be coiled inside the mounting canister, so the luminaire can be lifted out and the lamp changed above the water line.
Is it fully submersible?
Yes. It is fully submersible and tested to an IP68 water protection rating.
Will pool chemicals damage it?
Out of balance pool chemicals may cause the luminaire to corrode quickly. The 316 stainless body is electro polished for extra protection and is suitable for up to 1000 parts per million of chloride.
What comes in the box?
The luminaire comes with a PVC canister and 6m of cable. The lamp and transformer are bought separately.
