Description
The combination of a weighted base and marine grade stainless steel makes this one of the most practical and enduring pond lights in the Hunza range. The Hunza Pond Light Weighted Base in Stainless Steel is built for gardens where you want the very best material without any compromise on ease of installation or long term durability.
The weighted base design means the fitting sits on the floor of the pond under its own weight, with no need to drill through the pond base or liner, and no risk of creating leak points in an existing structure. For garden owners with established ponds who want to add professional quality underwater lighting without major disruption, this is a genuinely elegant solution. It is equally useful on new builds where a degree of future flexibility is desirable, since the lights can be moved and repositioned as the garden matures.
The body is constructed from 316L stainless steel, the marine grade alloy that resists corrosion in continuously wet environments, and the whole fitting is hand assembled in New Zealand by the Hunza team. IP68 rated for full submersion, the adjustable arm gives 360 degree rotation and the ability to direct the beam at precisely the angle you need. Whether you are lighting koi in a formal pond, creating depth and drama in a wildlife pond, or highlighting an underwater feature in a water garden or ornamental lake, the beam control this fitting offers makes a real difference to the final result.
To maintain the IP68 rating and the Hunza product warranty, only Hunza approved LED lamps should be used. Low voltage operation requires a compatible transformer. Suitable for garden ponds, koi ponds, wildlife ponds, natural swimming ponds, water features, ornamental lakes and decorative fountains. Not for use in swimming pools.
