Not every pond lighting project calls for stainless steel or copper. Sometimes what you really want is a fitting that disappears into the environment, sitting quietly at the bottom of a wildlife pond or beneath the surface of a naturalistic water feature without drawing attention to itself. The Hunza Pond Light in Powder Coat does exactly that, offering the same proven Hunza build quality and IP68 submersible performance in a range of matt finish colours that blend naturally into their surroundings.
The body is cast aluminium with a UV stable powder coat finish applied to Hunza's exacting standards. Hand assembled in New Zealand, this is a fitting built for the long term. The choice of matt black, matt bronze, matt dark grey, matt olive green and matt silver star means you can match the fitting to your pond liner, surrounding stonework or the general palette of the garden without the light itself becoming a visual distraction during the day.
Fully submersible to IP68, this luminaire sits on an adjustable arm that allows you to direct the beam precisely where it needs to go. It is ideal for garden ponds of all sizes, wildlife ponds, ornamental water gardens, contemporary water features, koi ponds, streams and rill features, and decorative fountains. It is not suitable for swimming pool installation.
This fitting requires a Hunza approved LED lamp to maintain the IP68 rating and the product warranty. Low voltage operation means it needs a compatible transformer, and professional installation by a qualified electrician is strongly recommended anywhere near water.
