A Mains Copper Lantern Style Light That Mellows With Age
The Hunza Pagoda Light GU10 in solid copper brings warmth to an entrance way, and it connects to the mains without any transformer. Its lens sends light out horizontally and upwards in a non directional pattern, so the porch, wall and planting around it all pick up a little glow. You supply a GU10 lamp of your own.
Solid Copper and Its Patina
Hunza builds this one in solid copper and expects it to weather. It starts bright and warm, then deepens to brown, and over a long period can move toward a soft green. That is the natural patina, and it is how copper roofs and gutters age as well.
Technical Notes
- Body diameter 63.5mm, length 140mm, mounted on a 75mm base with a depth of 28mm.
- Mains supply, wired in parallel, with no driver required.
- Lamp not supplied. Use a Hunza approved LED to maintain the IP rating and warranty.
- IP66 rated, backed by a 10 year warranty with 5 years on the LED.
- Light is reflected at two angles, horizontally and upwards.

Good to Know
- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- Solid copper will darken and patina outdoors, which is normal and not a fault.
- A mains fitting should be connected by a qualified electrician.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Will this copper light change colour?
Yes. It is solid copper and is designed to weather, moving from bright copper to brown and perhaps a soft green.
Is it mains or low voltage?
It is the mains GU10 version, with no driver or transformer required.
Is the lamp included?
No. A Hunza approved GU10 LED is sold separately and keeps the IP rating and warranty intact.
What is the IP rating?
It is rated IP66.
