The Hunza Lawn Light Deck Mount GU10 is built to sit inside timber decking rather than turf, taking foot traffic without cracking or working loose. This version pairs a solid bronze flange with a powder coated aluminium body below the deck, and it runs directly on mains power rather than needing a transformer.

Solid bronze flange, powder coated body

The flange is solid bronze, not plated, so it will darken and develop a natural patina outdoors over the years, which Hunza treats as part of the design rather than a fault. The body beneath it, recessed into the decking, is powder coated aluminium rather than bronze.

How it works

The head directs light up to 20 degrees off vertical, enough to angle the beam toward a nearby tree, shrub or the side of a building rather than straight up. A flush fit lens sits level with the decking surface to stop water and dirt pooling on the glass. The recessed body is 140mm in diameter and around 90mm long, set into a 165mm flange.

It isn't supplied with a bulb, and to keep the IP rating and warranty valid, it must be run with a Hunza approved GU10 LED lamp. Because it runs on mains voltage, it doesn't need a separate transformer or driver. The same fixture is also available as a low voltage version if you'd rather run it through a transformer with the rest of a low voltage circuit.

Where it works best

Built for timber decking rather than lawn: raised terraces, decked garden paths, and installations where running mains cable is more practical than adding a low voltage transformer.
